Benefit Programs

The ISAS Group Benefits Trust currently offers a comprehensive Benefits Plan package to certain members of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest.

The Trust offers two self-funded medical plans with prescription drug coverage, as well as two self-funded dental plans and a fully-insured vision plan.

For schools seeking a reimbursement account, the Trust provides access to a health savings account (HSA), a healthcare and a dependent care flexible spending account (FSA), and a limited-purpose healthcare FSA for those who participate in the HSA.

Long-term disability, life, accidental death and dismemberment, and additional voluntary life coverages are also offered on a fully-insured basis.

A school may participate in any and all plans for which it is eligible. The medical, dental, and vision plans are currently open to any school in Texas and Oklahoma that is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. A flexible spending accounts plan is offered to schools that participate in the medical and dental plan, but it is not required. The long-term disability and life insurance plans are open to all ISAS schools. Underwriting may or may not be necessary, depending on the size of school.
