Benefit Programs

The ISAS Group Benefits Trust currently offers a comprehensive Benefits Plan package to members of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest.

The Trust offers medical and prescription drug plans for school employees and their dependents on a self-funded basis. Benefits are provided through a self-insured trust with claims administration and network services provided by United Healthcare. The Trust also offers a fully-insured vision plan through UHC as well.

Beginning in September 2011, for the first time, the Trust offers two dental plan options, neither of which is bundled with the medical benefits. A self-funded PPO option is the most preferred plan choice, but a fully-insured, pre-paid dental HMO option is the newest addition. Both of these plans are administered and network services provided by Delta Dental.

For those schools seeking a Flexible Spending Account that provides for automatic adjudication of out-of-pocket medical claim expenses, the Trust has arrangements with UHC to individualize and administer medical expense and dependent care expenses reimbursement plans.

Long term disability, life, accidental death and dismemberment, as well as additional voluntary life is also offered on a fully-insured basis through the Trust's relationship with Dearborn National Life.
